Israeli occupation forces rounded up five Palestinian Jerusalemites in Silwan town, south of the Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem, on Sunday.

Local sources said that members of special police and army units stormed the town and broke into many houses in various suburbs.

They said that Israeli courts renewed the detention of a number of other Jerusalemites from Silwan.

The Israeli occupation forces soldiers frequently raid Silwan and arrest young men and even children at the pretext of confronting Israeli occupation forces patrols.
